How many hours have you actually played?
Steam and PlayStation each count their own playtime. See your total hours across every platform in one place, per year, per platform and per game.

On this page
Ask Steam how long you have played and it will tell you per game. Ask PlayStation and you get a different set of games and a different number. If you play on more than one platform, no single place knows your real total. playedby.me adds it up.
Each store only knows its own games
Steam counts the hours for games you play through Steam, PlayStation counts the hours on your PlayStation account, and RetroAchievements counts what you play on emulators. A Switch game, a game on another launcher or one you finished years ago is in none of them.
playedby.me puts them in one journal. Import your Steam library and playtime, PlayStation games and RetroAchievements history, and add the rest by hand. Hours you enter yourself count the same as imported hours.
One total for every platform
Your profile shows the total at the top: how many games you have played, how many hours and your average rating. Every hour on every playthrough counts, whichever platform it was on and wherever it came from.
Hours per year and platform
Hours per year spreads each playthrough's hours evenly over its start and end dates, so a game you played over New Year counts in both years. It is an estimate, not a log of each session. Hours per platform shows where your time went.
Select a year or a platform to see the games behind the number, with hours and rating for each.
The games you played the most
The Top list ranks your games by hours. You can add it to your profile with Customise profile, along with the year and platform charts.
Good to know
- A playthrough without hours still counts as a game played. It just adds nothing to the total.
- A playthrough you have not finished counts in the total, and shows up per year once it has an end date.
- Steam keeps one total per game, so replays imported from Steam end up in one number until you split them.
- In December, Wrapped sums up your year in games, hours included.
